Guild Ranks
GUILDLEADER / CO-GUILDLEADER
The founders and leaders of the guild.
OFFICER
Officers are in active positions associated with specific areas of guild management. They are responsible
for organizing their team and working with others to manage the guild. Officers return to Senior Member
ranks during times in which they are not actively working on an area of guild management. Officers are
expected to mediate conflicts and function as mature, responsible leaders for the guild.
RAID LEADER
Raid Leaders are responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and executing Eternal raids. These
individuals are strong leaders who are familiar with raid encounters, class balance, and overall strategies.
CLASS LEAD
One player per archetype will generally be assigned as the Class Lead for Eternal. These players are
responsible for analyzing raid member performance, fine tuning strategies for their archetype, offering
advice and instruction on class specs, gear, and play style, and anything else which can improve the
performance of their archetypes. Archetypes are: Tank Lead, Heal Lead, and DPS Lead.
RAIDER
The Raider rank designates the progression raiding team for Eternal. These are players who have proven
their worth in terms of gear, skill, and ability to work as a strong team. The Raider team consists of
individuals who are able to attend most if not all raids, who reliably bring and use consumables,
who are extremely knowledgeable about their class, and who always work to improve their fellow raid
members and the guild. These players have all grouped extensively with the officers, raid leader,
and class leads, and have demonstrated that they are a good fit for the team. Unknown or little-known
players will never be invited to the Raider team.
Players are not Raiders forever. If a Raider misses all raids for two weeks
without letting the raid leader know, he or she will have their Raider status revoked. Other reasons
to lose your Raider rank include but are not limited to: not following Raid Guidelines; causing or
encouraging drama and conflict; consistent inability to perform well during raids; inability to
communicate effectively during encounters; no drive to improve gear outside of raids; attempting to
raid with missing gems, enchants, and glyphs; going AFK for any reason without announcing it;
persistently being a "backseat driver" in the raid; raiding outside of the guild in instances that
were scheduled for the guild.
Max level players are
not automatically entitled to this position; you must first gear yourself up and be taken on several
trial raids/heroics. Prospective Raiders will be approved by the Raid Leader, Class Leaders, and Officers.
The Raider rank does not signify a rank better
than or above Senior Member, but simply indicates that you are a member of the progression team.

SENIOR MEMBER
This rank is a symbol of loyalty and dedication to the guild. Players who are Senior Members have
proven, over an extended period of time, their leadership qualities and mature attitude. They
organize and lead groups, help players in the guild with quests, help new players integrate into
our community, and work in Officer teams to manage guild functions. This is a rank that recognizes
the hard work and dedication to the guild. These are seasoned players who can assist others that are
new to the game by providing help based on their experience and knowledge. Members in this rank are
generally not raiding with Eternal, but are active in other areas of the game.
MEMBER
Members of the guild.
TRIAL MEMBER
This rank is for new members of Eternal. Players stay at this rank for two weeks on probationary status.
This trial period is set aside for the prospective member to introduce themselves to other guild members
and officers, and for Officers to get a feel for their personality and play style. At the end of two
weeks, one or more officers must have grouped with the Trial Member and be able to recommend them as a
full member. Trial Members can be removed from the guild at any time during their trial if the guild
master or officers believe that the member is not a good fit.
